Three ways to get inspired to Go Gliding!
On-airfield events
These exciting and fun events at gliding clubs around the country inspire people into gliding and open a gateway to aviation & STEM careers. The 1/2 day experience includes: videos and presentations on gliding, Q&A with role-models, hands-on STEM activities, a simulator flight, a fun Quiz with Goody Bag and a chance win a gliding scholarship. Target age range 13 – 18 years.
Online events
Interactive online events to inspire women and girls into gliding, STEM and careers aviation with videos, presentations & Q&A with female pilots, a fun Quiz, an e-Goody Bag and a chance to win a gliding mini-course. Suitable for adventurous women of all ages from 13 years upward.
Careers events
Hosted by major aviation companies and highlighting pathways to the wide range of aviation careers as well as offering a chance to win a gliding scholarship. These events are primarily aimed at young people post-GCSE and will take place in early 2024.
